This 4-day training program will explain Six Sigma philosophies and principles, including supporting systems and tools, and enable participants to demonstrate team leadership, understand team dynamics, and assign team member roles and responsibilities. Participants will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of the DMAIC model in accordance with Six Sigma principles. They have basic knowledge of lean enterprise concepts, are able to identify non-value-added elements and activities, and are able to use specific tools.

Black Belts, individuals supporting Six Sigma projects, and/or individuals looking to achieve their ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
Participants shall be certified as Six Sigma Black Belts upon the following criteria:

- Class attendance and active participation
- Passing the Black Belt exam 70% or more.
- Participants who attend all classes and pass the exam with more than 70% shall be granted a certificate of achievement for the course by Quality Academy™.
- Participants who attend all classes shall be granted only an Attendance certificate for the course.
QA Certification is recognized perpetually. A classification system recognizes certifications as “Current” for a period of three years and defines regulations for maintaining such Status.
A QA Certified Lean Six Black Green Belt is issued a Certificate (Electronic or Hard Copy) along with a Certification Number, added to the Official QA Certification Register and granted the right to use the QA Certification Marks and Titles; as professional designation which may be used in resumes and public profiles such as LinkedIn, consistent with the QA Marks Use Policy.

ASQ CSSBB Examination
Each certification candidate is required to pass a written examination that consists of multiple-choice questions that measure comprehension of the Body of Knowledge. The Six Sigma Black Belt examination is a four-and-a-half-hour, 165-question exam, and is offered in English only. 150 questions are scored and 15 are unscored..

ASQ certification examinations are delivered by ASQ’s testing partner, Prometric. The examination scheduling instructions in your eligibility letter will direct you to a section of Prometric’s website, where you can select and schedule your examination date and location. Examinations are conducted Six times a year, every alternate month starting January 2017.
